Coating Capabilities
As a leading contract coating supplier,
Raleigh’s coating equipment has been developed to enable
a wide range of materials to be direct or transfer coated, including
paper, films, vinyls, coated fabrics, woven and non woven fabrics,
along with flexible substrates.
“Clean Room”
coating and drying capability (Class 1000/ISO14644.1 Class 6)
is available if required.
All types of Solvent coating and aqueous systems can be coated
in widths of up to 1640mm applied on Reverse Roll or Knife over
Roller coating lines.
Customer materials
can be handled in up to 1100mm diameter rolls and returned on
a roll for roll basis or converted into finished format if required.
Most coatings and substrates can be processed with coating weights
typically in the range of 10gsm - 100gsm. Hot
melt coating technology includes
slot die coating in widths up to 1100mm with coating weights
in the range of 20gsm - 200gsm.
Customers can either make use of our existing range of pressure
sensitive adhesive and release liners or specify their own grades.
