New blending equipment acquired.........

Raleigh Coatings have added mixing & blending facilities to the Contract Coating & Laminating plant.
We’ve just acquired some mixing kit that will provide for dispersing & blending of; for example, cross-linkers, catalysts, pigments and the like into formulas that need them to function properly once coated out.
Increasingly we are asked to add functional chemistry just prior to sending material to the coating heads. This might be down to greatly reduced pot-life once added, or simply that the formula will not travel very well once additives are included, so they must be dosed and blended at the coater.
Whatever the reason, we can now offer this additional service on both water-based and solvent coatings.
